About V on Shenton

V on Shenton is the 54-storey residential tower of SingLand’s flagship integrated complex, UIC Building. It is conveniently placed at the intersection of Shenton Way and the Marina Bay Financial District and has 510 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom flats and penthouses. The proposed Shenton Way MRT station will be directly on the development’s doorstep.

The skyscraper, designed by renowned Dutch architecture company UNStudio and award-winning Architects 61, combines habitat and nature to create a spectacular column of light, space, and greenery.

UIC Investments (Properties) Pte Ltd, a well-known property developer, will construct V on Shenton. With a proven track record in the Singapore residential property market, they are dedicated to constructing high-quality houses with thorough attention to detail.

Shenton Way, often known as Singapore’s Wall Street, proudly holds Singapore’s financial and trade heritage. The first structures along Shenton Way did not develop until the 1960s.

The first was the Conference Hall and Trade Union House in 1965, which eventually became the Singapore Conference Hall, followed by the ICB Building in 1968 and Shing Kwan House, which is now the SGX Centre. Robina House, Shenton House, and, of course, the UIC Building were also significant in the 1970s.

On the near future, over 1,000 hectares of land – three times the size of Marina Bay – will be available for development in the Greater Southern Waterfront after 2030.

Inside V on Shenton

V on Shenton is a 99-year leasehold development that began in November 2011. In terms of unit mix, It is a lovely development with 510 magnificent residential apartments (1- to 4-bedroom) spread throughout one 54-storey high-rise tower. There are penthouse alternatives available. The unit sizes range from 441 square feet for a studio to 7,255 square feet for the 4-bedroom penthouse.

The development has a sea-facing gymnasium, three stories of verdant sky gardens, and luxury pools with views of the metropolitan skyline.

The V on Shenton office skyscraper, located along Shenton Way in the heart of Singapore’s Central Commercial District and Wall Street, will remain an emblem of Singapore’s business and architectural power. The office tower will consist of 14 office floors of Prime Grade A building with an average floor space of close to 20,000 square feet.

The final floor-to-ceiling height for conventional office levels will be 2.8 metres, while the minimum height for trade floors will be 3.2 metres. The floor loading for approved spaces is 7.5kN/sqm. There will be knock-out panels enabling inter-floor communication in addition to the elevated flooring system.

Conversion of the existing platform between the two buildings into an opulent retail area is now in the works. To meet the demands of the growing number of inhabitants and worldwide business travelers in the area, the mall will have a variety of retail and food and beverage options, as well as a supermarket.

Greenmark Gold Plus certification will be granted to V on Shenton. The Building and Building Authority (BCA) created the BCA Green Mark Scheme in January 2005 to encourage environmental awareness in the construction and real estate industries. It is a benchmarking program that strives to establish a sustainable built environment via the incorporation of best practices in environmental design and construction, as well as the use of green building technology.

Because of the infusion of residential, hotel, and retail uses from new constructions, the CBD will continue to be revitalized with an increasingly diversified mix of uses. A new retail and entertainment spine along Bayfront Avenue in Marina Bay will diversify our city’s retail and leisure offerings.
